DURGA PUJA : The Celebration Of Life
Into The Life of Bengal
As soon as September comes, the heart of every Bengali thumps, it's nothing but the excitement of homecoming of Maa Durga(Goddess Durga). Durga Puja or Durga Pujo is not only just a festival, it's more than that, an entire get together for a community.

As a Bengali, I can say all Bengalis has one thing in common, i.e. "Emotions". It reflects everywhere, rather it be food, festivals, sports everything. And for Durga Puja to feel the emotion, there is no other place than any "Kumorpara', it may be "Kumortuli" in Kolkata, or in Krishna Nagar etc.
Do you know who makes the beautiful clay idols of Goddess Durga?
Let me tell you a story, a normal story of an artist, who creates mesmerizing arts, arts which we praise a lot.
But how many of we actually Praise the Artist? Who is endlessly working to achieve the word "Perfection"............ Let's together appreciate the artists.

THE ARTIST

In the main 5 days of Puja, the whole State is decked up with lights. By walking down the lane and by lanes of the city , during these days, you'll slowly start feeling the pulse of the city. I am not going to explain all the days in details, as you have to come to Bengal to fully experience the Durga Puja.

Finally I can conclude, that for us Bengalis, Durga Puja is the "Celebration" of Life, Life, Kindness, people burst into happiness and smiles during these days.
